Pat explains it all
Pat Robertson is just misunderstood by the liberal media. He's been cut up for saying the US should "take out" Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez (who, granted, is pretty out there). Robertson explained that
Fortunately, Robertson made his intented meaning perfectly clear to anybody who was paying attention 5 seconds beforehand, when he said
"I didn't say 'assassination.' I said our special forces should 'take him out.' And 'take him out' can be a number of things."Pat's right; he did say "take him out," as in "We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability." So I'm glad he cleared up that ambiguity.
Fortunately, Robertson made his intented meaning perfectly clear to anybody who was paying attention 5 seconds beforehand, when he said
"If [Chavez] thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think we really ought to go ahead and do it."But maybe that was taken out of context too?

Comments are pretty out there, but what gets me is that they were made on the 700 club. Did anyone on earth think that show still existed? I'm surprised anyone even noticed. I bet they had to do a google tv search for the word "assassinate".

Somehow the 700 Club always finds me. Whenever I'm clicking around Pat's face shows up on my TV.
Why does Pat pray with his eyes closed? Can't he look God in the eye?
I has half asleep but I swear that the other night they were reading letters to Pat asking for financial advice. Pat's answer had to be "Send it all to me."
Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?
