The Louisiana Purchase...

...was a rip off compared to the sweet deal the Jets were able to arrange with the Chiefs:
  • The Jets got to fire their inept head coach Herm Edwards without paying out the rest of his contract
  • The Jets get a 4th round draft pick (I would have given a draft pick to dump Edwards)
  • The Jets get a weakened NFL opponent in the Kansas City Chiefs under Edwards
  • The Chiefs get... Herman Edwards
Wow! It looks like the Jets will hire Eric Mangini from New England. He at least appears to have a brain.

  • The last month has been a media love-in for Herm Edwards. Ask a Jets fan! He stinks!

    The bungling of the draft the last few years really was the worst facet of his regime. The most embarassing was needing to bring in a clock management coach.
