Next stop: Arlington National Cemetery

A Federal judge has declared unconstitutional a war memorial in the form of a Christian cross. He has ordered the city to pay $5,000 per day in fines unless they tear it down.

There are thousands of crosses and stars of David at Arlington National Cemetery: should we tear those up while we're at it?

This is not the original intent of the first amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
