Missouri Tight While It's Game Over for "Linc"

Well, that's it for Lincoln Chaffee. He was nothing but obstructionist and weak during his tenure as a liberal Republican from Rhode Island. I hope Bush and Co. are happy they knocked out his conservative challenger who could have at least delivered the Republican message in loss.

But in Missouri, it's very tight. This has become the true battleground race in the nation with the national attention afforded it by Michael J. Fox, Rush Limbaugh, Al Gore and others.

And the offer price for Republican control over the House is up to 8% with significant support on the bid side. It still doesn't look good, but there is some speculative action on the buy side.
